Atlantis had many species of animals (Crit 115a, Crit 118c) including elephants (Crit 115a), horses (Crit 117c), and cattle/bulls (Crit 117c). Note that this suggests a large landmass like our candidate is.
Critics claim our location has no horses or bulls or elephants.
We showed plenty of evidence that our site had bulls in the chapter on Bulls. We also showed a little bit of evidence for our site having horses in the chapter on Horses, though it is only a little bit of evidence so far until we can look through sources for more. In this chapter we will give evidence for elephants in our location.
"Elephant" can mean either elephant, mammoth, toxodon, mastodon, or aleph/alpha "ox/bull". In the modern world elephants are only found in India and Africa. However it is known that "prehistoric" America also had it own species of elephants too. "Indian Elephant in American art" (Donald Mackenzie 'Pre-Columbian America'). There is the 'Elephant Mound' & Elephant Pipes in USA. Central America long-nosed god. Elephants on Maya stones. Peru/Bolivia & South America had toxodon &/or mastodon, eg mastodon at Tarija. Sea salt petrified mastodon near Bogota. (Refs: Graham Hanc0ck, Jim Allen.) Elephants are seen in the Crespi collection. The "age of giant tapirs" at/of Tiahuanaco?
Of course some other Atlantis location candidates had elephants too. Ivory came from Keftiou "Crete". Europe & Siberia had mammoths. Hannibal took elephants over the Alps. Spanuth found elephant tusk in the Heligoland area. But Atlantis can't be in any of these places because they don't match some of the details of the Account such as large size, western direction, far distance, large plain, highest mountains, separate landmass to Europe & Asia & Libya, etc.
Our Atlantis location candidate also has a match for the many species of animals: Prehistoric America(s) had elephants, mastodons, toxodons, rhinoceros, horses, giant sloths, sabre toothtigers, llamas, alpaca, camels, new world monkeys, buffalo, pigs, dinosaurs, puma, coyote, rheas/ratites, etc. One or more sources say "under Titicaca animal varieties not found anywhere else in world". "Madidi national park richest biodiversity in world"? Uyuni "animals"? Horses, camelids, sloths Pikimachay? Apolobamba unknown species of flora & fauna? Nazca lines animal pictures? Sayhuite monolith zoomorphic reliefs? Mass extinction sites from Alaska to Mexico and from Bogota to Fuego.
