5. The Large Plain of Atlantis (and the 2 crops a year).
"fairest of all plains" Crit 113d. ("lakes & marshes/swamp & rivers, and ... mountains and on plains" Crit 115a.) "surrounding the city was a level plain , itself surrounded by mountains which descended towards the sea ... 3000 stadia ... from the sea through the center of the island 2000 stadia; the whole region of the island...." Crit 118b-c. ".... It received the streams which came down from the mountains, & winding round the plain, & touching the city at various points, was there let of into the sea. From above... toward the sea ... wood from the mountains...." Crit 118c-119b.
We have stark matches for the Atlantis plain both in the ground and in local sources.
Physical evidence for our Atlantis Plain match in the ground around Tiahuanaco: Although we can not yet totally definitely given the exact boundaries of the Plain, it is sure that the plain matches one of these physical evidences in the Titicaca - Tiahuanaco - Altiplano area: - "the valley or plateau on which Tiahuanaco is situated. Nowhere else all around the lake is there such a level plateau." "The site of Tiwanaku lies in a broad plain in the rio Tiwanaku valley one of several that cut back from the southern edge of lake Titicaca into the huge plateau of the Bolivian Altiplano." "the plain of Tiahuanaco". There are geoglyphs all around Tiahuanaco and the southern side of Titicaca. "the flat depression which was occupied by the lake and its southern shores". "at the edge of a great plain basin". "the whole great tableland of Peru and Bolivia ... with ... its own plains ...." People say that our Peru/Bolivia area is a "plateau", which means high flat (like a raised plain). [Tinajani basin / Titicaca basin ?] - There is the present Altiplano with geoglyphs.* - "the plain in which the lake [Titicaca] is situated". * The Altiplano proper doesn't necessarily include of extend as far as the area right by Tiahuanaco, so the Altiplano is not necessarily quite exactly totally matching the Atlantis Plain? Either the Plain is the Altiplano, or the plain was right in the area right by Tiahuanaco. For the altiplano: The area right by Tiahuanco can/may be included in the Altiplano? The Inca picture on the Coricancha may possibly imply that the plain wasn't immediately touching/by the city but abit further off? For the area right by Tiahuanaco: The uplifting higher of the Andes may have altered the geography somewhat)?
The large Plain of Atlantis was surrounded by mountains, and no one can dispute that this matches our location in Peru/Bolivia.
The large Plain was in the mid-point of the longest side of the whole large Island of Atlantis. Anyone can see in an Atlas that this matches our Peru/Bolivia location.
[The large Plain was on the sea side of the island, and towards the islands? This fits our Peru/Bolivia location which is on the Pacific Ocean/Islands side. The sea is either Titicaca (then), or the Pacific.]
[The large Plain faced south and was sheltered from the north (wind)? Peru/Bolivia was once on the equator in a previous pole shift map. Flem-Ath said that the (w?) coast of (N?) America faced south in a previous pole shift map, so that may mean do did the west coast of South America? The Inca picture from the Coricancha has to compass points crosses + and X which may possibly connect with the sheltered from the north & the faced south, and a pole shift?]
The only uncertainty is that some translations/interpretations seem to imply that the city/sea was in the middle of longer not shorter side, and/or that the plain width extended up the country thru the center of the island 90 degrees rotation different direction? Though the Lee translation says "at its midpoint 2000 stades in breadth from the coast"?
Kirchir's map may possibly be considered to show the plain in roughly the vicinity of Venezuela. However to my view his map show two possible locations for where the capital city & plain can be - Peru & Venezuela, and the Peru one seems more compelling to me. Kampanakis' "Platonian tradition" map which is shown in Berlitz's book has plain & city on sw side similar to ours, and it is in roughly same location in his Atlantis island as ours is (except that his Atlantis is rotated 90 degrees and fliped 180 degrees).
[The plain may have been flooded as possibly implied by the word pelagos? There is evidence of a Flood that flooded Tiahuanaco and south of Titicaca.]
Strabo's 1000/1200/1500 stades extension of Spain ["Gadeira"] in south-western-most Europe may imply that Atlantis (Plain) was in/to the south-west?]
The network of canals of the large Plain of Atlantis (of "Plato") is confirmed in the ground and in local sources: Jim Allen and other sources like bibliotecapleyades show satellite pictures of geoglyphs on the southeast & southwest of Titicaca, and near / north of Tiahuanaco, and in the Altiplano which match the criss-crossing channels/canals (and population). (Sajama lines 22525 sq km, 16000 km, 10/20km?) Peru/Bolivia still has the sukukolos "raised fields" agriculture system, and/or waruwaru agriculture system.
Cultures of other times & places in Peru & the Andes also had the same or similar canals/channels systems reminiscent of Atlantis & the Tiahuanaco area: raised fields Umayo? network of canals (Chavin); system irrigation channels (Moche/Chimu/Chanchan); irrigation networks (Moche/Sipan)? Abundant harvests from irrigation system (Moche/Chimu)?
They had 2 crops a year in (the Plain of) Atlantis. - The ancient suka_kollus "(flooded-)raised field(s)" summer & winter farming/agriculture system of Tiwanaku / Altiplano / Peru / Bolivia, which "produced impressive yields". - The plain is certainly and the 2 crops a year is maybe shown in the Inca picture from the Coricancha. (The large rectangle with crossing lines, and the "sun & moon / stars & clouds = summer & winter".) - The sun & moon in picture of waruwaru agricultre.
The Atlantis Plain & "Atliplano" in local sources: - The large Plain of Atlantis (and the surrounding ditch/trench and criss-crossing channels/canals) is depicted in the Inca picture from the Coricancha, which picture also depicts a number of other things also found in the Atlantis Account such as the concentric circles city, the 2 crops a year, etc. http://2rbetterthan1.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/inca_altar01.jpg http://f.tqn.com/y/archaeology/1/S/7/_/1/coricancha-altar.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bjmO_QlWUWg/T7Hgo3qHuOI/AAAAAAAAADw/QAxP_NQvw3Q/s320/Altar+de+Coricancha.jpg http://galacticdoor2011.blog.com/files/2011/12/gold-map-in-coricancha.jpg - A picture in the Crespi collection seemingly may also show the plain with criss-crossing channels.
Our identification of Atlantis city and plain as Tiahuanaco and "Altiplano" is seemingly confirmed by that the [3 or] "4" cities of Asshur in Genesis 10 seem to match 3 cities and "Altiplano" in Peru, and match our Atlantis city and large plain.

* We can't be totally certain that we have picked the right (way around) correspondenceses between the 3/4 cities of Asshur (Calah, Resen, Nineveh & Rehoboth), and the 3/4 components/structures of Tiwanaku, or the 3 windows/toccos (Tampu, Maras, Sutic), and the 5 sites on the Route of Viracocha ((Quito,) MacchuPicchu, Olantaytampo, Cuzco, Paracs, Tiwanaku). The various possibilities are:
3 cities of Asshur (Calah, Resen, Nineveh (& Rehoboth)); or 4 cities of Asshur (Calah, Resen, Nineveh, Rehoboth);
The 3 matches of the 5 sites of route of Viracocha for the 3 windows & 3 cities of Asshur could be either: 1 MP or Ot or Cuzco, 2 Pucara, 3 Tiwanaku; 1 Macchu Picchu, 2 Olantaytampo or Cuzco or Pucara, 3 Tiwanaku; 1 MacchuPicchu, 2 Olantaytampo or Cuzco, 3 Pucara; 1 MacchuPicchu, 2 Olantaytampo, 3 Cuzco or Pucara or Tiwanaku; 1MacchuPicchu 2Cuzco 3PucaraorTiahuanaco 1 Olantaytampo, 2 Cuzco or Pucara, 3 Tiahuanaco.
The "ussa/the bright field of tas(ia)" in Menes tomb label (according to LA Waddell's reading) may possibly connect with (Amenti in west, and with) the Atlantis plain.]
Surely this is "2 or 3 witnesses" confirming that Atlantis is real and that our identification is right.
The Plain, canals network, &/or 2 crops a year can not match any of these following other plains or plain like features because they do not match all the details of the Atlantis Account (including the large plain, the mountains, the sea, the direction, the distance, large size island, extensive civilisation (remians), early date, etc): - Entre Rios - Pampas - Nazca ("grassy") plain - Parima/"Eldorado" (Raleigh); - the Llanos/Ilanos (Venezuela) - Planalto. - in Caribbean sea south of Cuba. - the highly fertile floating gardens/canals of the valley of Mexico. - off Florida/Georgia/Carolina - Great Plains (USA); (- Gulf Stream); - Hyperborea also had 2 crops. - Salisbury plain. - Strabo's 1000/1200/1500 stades extension of Spain. - Tartessos/Guadalquivir(-Tinto) area (refs Berlitz, Google satellite). - Shinar. - Mesopotamia wheat yielded 200-fold (ref Herodotus) and was cut twice (ref Pliny) (ref for both HG Wells). There are not any much other places in the whole world with such a large Plain (and high mountians, and inland sea, and extensive civilisation, etc). It is said that Atlantis had "an extensive net of canals such as was never seen in Euorpe".
