Final Results, Total Quiz X

The final part of TQX is over, and it is time to go back and collect all the results of the past quiz. But first, a few Scoring Awards.

Best Single Score Award to Komnenos, for a fantastic 15 points on 14 questions in Part 3 with the New Interpretation of the Rules, and for Dawn, with 14.88 points on 11 questions in Part 1, with the old interpretation!

Best Average Score Award to fastspawn for getting a whole 26.5 points on two rounds, with 23 available questions!

And now, the final score...

...a landslide victory to...

...here it comes...

...Dawn!

I have also realized that managing the TQ, though being very fun, takes too much of the little time I have, and this has been the by far most prolonged quiz this far, and I don't think I have time to make it faster in the future. Thus, it leaves a spot open for a new TQ moderator.

Congratulations, Dawn!  I have to check the Annals , but out of the top of my head you must be the first woman to conquer a whole quiz edition.

Please notice she won (and by far! nearly the  double of the second best) mostly because she was consistent in her high scores, and while other people bested her on single parts, she was the only one to keep a reasonably constant performance.
Congratulations again, constance is a great yet sometimes underrated quality!

Styrbiorn,

Yes, TQ moderation is a fun yet time consuming job. Best look at finding your substitute.
Dawn, what do you think? Would you like to do it?

Thank you for your proctoring!

I won't mind moderating for the TQ, unless someone else wants to do it (because if you do, you can't play!).

wow this is to cool. Thank you.

Imperator if you would like to moderate that would be great (i really do love to play)  but if you feel you  don't have time I would do it.

Fantastic! You are American., Imperator, are you not? If so, you'd be the first American TQ moderator, II! And one who knows Latin! Rara avis.

Thanks! Actually, I am American by citizenship, but am Chinese-born.

I'm planning on a regular schedule for the TQ, probably once every 2 months at least during non-summer time.

A Chinese born who speaks Latin. Amazing.

However, you would be also the first Chinese TQ Moderator. Not the first Asian, since the first was Cyrus (all the other TQ Moderators had been European - hence why the times have ben firstly given according to Central Europe time, and only afterwards converting for other time zones).

Yep, that means the TQ base time zone is coming to the US East coast! hehe

Well this is good.  Imperator I am sure you will be great as Mod. and the time zone differance will be nice for a change( No more thoughts like :the swedish guy is sleeping now have to wait for replies till morning- you sleep at more or less the same time as me)

Styrboirn - you were a great Mod and I will miss your answers to silly pm questions (I'm sure you won't miss answering 32,000,000 questions and wrong answers though)  but look forward to you as a competitor again  perhaps I will beat you someday.
