I can't let this go by without tweeking TigerofKai a little.  The Phills and Reds started a 4 game series last nite.  The Phils took the first game 3-2.  The Reds have a much better team than their record shows.  Or maybe it's the fact that in order to play the Phils you have to step up a level in play.

Okay, so the Phils swept the Reds at home in 4 games.  First time the Phils have done that since 1916.  The Phils absolutely smothered the Reds, and then go to Florida and lose 2 of 3 games to....the Marlins?  Go figure.

TOK, I don't understand something here.  The Reds are an excellant team.  They are struggling right now, but all teams go through that.  They have a beautiful new Ballpark.  But where are the fans?  Their stands were over half empty and it would have been worse without the Phils fans.  The tenth man hath pulled the ripcord, why?  Is it something other than the team?  I can tell you right now it's tough to play in front of a hostile crowd, but when that hostile crowd is your hometown fans, you have a serious problem.

Speaking of the Cardinals, did you happen to see "old Nasty" get caught on tape admitting [in a fashionBig smile]  that he tells his pitchers to throw at a batter?  That was a classic.
