I am looking for, and I know they exist, a resource which tells you how often an author has been cited by other academics.

Anyone have further info?

Apparently there's one here:

webscience.org

The tool apparently enables one to write in the name of an article and it magically tells you how many times it's been cited by other papers.

Let's start a competition to see who can find it first.
