I am going on a trip to Europe in about a week with my Donauschwaben (volksdeutsch) dancing group. I am making a songbook and i am looking for the correct Hungarian flag to put on the front, along with the German and Austrian flags.

So my question is should i use the Plain tri-color flag of hungary or the Flag with the tri-color and the shield/crest thing.

The official flag of Hungary is the tricolor without the coat of arms. Altough non-officially the other version is also used frequently. There were plans to make the coat of arm version a state flag and the other a national flag, but currently all version can be used.
