Topic: Need Help Deciding On A Topic

Hi, I have to do an assignment, but I'm caught between which topic would be more appropriate.
The assignment requires the following on a significant person:

-Who the person is
-When and where they lived
-What their main achievements were
 -How they influenced their times

I'm considering Frederick the Great of Prussia and Commodore Matthew C Perry. Can I get an opinion on who would be more appropriate for the assignment? Which one is more historically significant?
