All countries have pasts Ollios. You know this. And many were dominated by others. Australia's includes 'primarily' that of Britain up to and including today. From it's settlement by British colonialists, prisoners, etc. Their history is Britain and native. And while like any other nation they are hosts to many immigrants and varying cultural assimilations...the Aussie's right now must still like that Union Jack.
The shame is not the flag... but how the natives were treated for so many years by the conquerors. Because at some point cultural diversity from a liberal, socialist, mentality viewpoint would often do away with the historical record. Merely to be 'politically current' in the current era's definition.
Denial of a nation's history to be 'pc' is bullshit amigo.

Actually a like flag of UK, it is combination of flag of Scotland and England, but I still don't like Australian version. Maybe it is because of it is not looking like a normal flag. As I told before it doesn't look like a flag of independent country.
Flag of British India Flag of British Australia
Flag of Australia
I don't deny their past. This way is better, I think
Flag of Armenia Flag of Nagorno Karabakh
The flag of Nagorno Karabakh is looking like more normal, but they are not recognised country.
This is Australian flag, not mine. these are
just my ideas. I can be obsessive in some issues.
