I want to learn more about this man, who had been UN Representative of US and who has made great fame by helping in solution of the conflict in Bosnia&Herzeginova..He had also attempted to solve some other issues, like Cyprus, but hadn't been as successful.

You should read his memoirs, To End A War.

In that book, he clearly expresses his views of the world, and never questions his role or his genius. (I am being facetious here.) Its a useful read, if only because it will explain what happened at Dayton.
