Does anybody have any information about the results of the Cohen gene experiments, which people contain it, also what it is etc?

I have understood that the so-called Cohen haplogroup (a subgroup of J but I haven't found yet which one) is prevalent among the Kohenim, occasional among other Jews, relatively strong among Kurds, Italians and the Lemba of South Africa (who claim Jewish ancestry).
