Although I personally pretty much hate Microsoft for what they've done in the PC market, I have to say I'm planning on buying an Xbox 360 just after the holidays. I also think its based on the games, and Microsoft has the bucks to get more developers than Sony. Not that Sony is hurting for dollars, its just not in the same ballpark as Microsoft.
Having played with a display Xbox 360, I've got to say it really impressed me. . . although I've heard the PS3 will be better. And more expensive.

The next Bioware, Mass Effect, is a game I expect a lot from. Bioware games (Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire) were just brillant. I see no reason for this one to be failed. So the Xbox 360 gets my vote. masseffect.bioware.com Beside this, Halo is meant to be a trilogy, so to play Halo 3 I assume you'll need the 360 .

I had heard there are all ready problems with the Xbox 360. The problem is that they overheat to a point they melt the CDs. I had only heard this, I hadn't witnessed it yet.

I think the PS3 is going to blow the 360 out of the water. It looks pretty sharp....

I'm sticking with my PS2. I'd rather wait untill the price of the XBOX is actually under $300.

The 360 will totally kick the Ps3 in graphics and games. 360 will have hit games like Halo 3 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion
