so, ive been reading up on Tesla, and i heard about his ultimate peace weapon, a death ray which could shoot down 200,000 planes over a course of ten miles. with every country equiped with this weapon, who would attack one another? lol so yeah i even heard the plans were stolen from their rightful owner, Nikolas nephew, who was a communist. i also heard the US goverment tried and failed to create the death ray.

That thing could generate power at little or no cost, but I read
somewhere that the oil companies tried to wipe out Tesla because
no-cost energy was obviously against their interests. So we have
the situation we have today. Maybe it's time to take another look
at his discoveries.

As much as I know Tesla's research aimed not a new power source, but wireless energy transportation. No electric outlets, and the electric devices could have been used anywhere.
He failed.
