Howdy. I'm new here and was advised to check the site out. So far this site is really neat! Wish I'd know about this site when I was in college way back. Better late than never.

Both books seem to be interesting to read, especially the second one, some years ago I researched about the political situation of northwest of Iran in 7th century BC, this is one of charts that I created for this subject:

Nice chart!

If I could add one thing. I'd place the Cimmerian/Scythian Chief/King Dugdammi between Protothyes and Madyes.
