Iran the beginning of mans evolution

The National Geographic Genographic project is an exciting development to trace the ancestry of man and his migratory patterns through the analysis of our own genetic make-up.

SW Iran, Mesopotamia and the Arabian Peninsular are the first points of mans settlement outside of Africa after he left Africa in about 60,000 BC.

It is around 55,000BC major moves into Asia are seen although by 60,000BC India has already been colonised by the M subgroups which colonise Eastern China.

It is from Iran in particular that many of the chromosome lines diverge via the Caucasus, deep into 'Russia' and eventually by 10,000BC into the Americas.

The Ziggurats of Sw Iran and Iraq may then be the ancestral forebear of the much later South American civilisations whose hereditary lines are shown to very largely emanate from modern day Iran and Iraq.

Iran is the hub around which the spokes of modern humanity emanate from although our earliest origins are African.

For the Turks. It seems clear from the lines that you diverged from SW Iran/Iraq and into Asia about 45,000BC. You are an old and very well travelled line.  You are Nomadic Iranians par excellence!
