I've only seen a couple of pre season games.  That's usually not a good thing to go on, things change after the last one.
The Giants look like crap, the Eagles still haven't figured out who is the piece of glass and who's gonna be the bottlecap.
I have just finished reading the sediment in the bottom of my coffee cup, it says to watch the Titans, and Houston.
 
I'm really still in Baseball mode.  The Phillies don't look like they are going to make the playoffs this year, however, this time last year the cards were 8 games out, there is some hope yet.

Here in the west, it looks like Seattle will be the contender to knock off the Niners. A tough task, they are stacked offensively. Seattle looks to have a big time defense, and a rookie QB. Could be a worthy battle.
