Here's the "card game" i read about in that cowboy action shooting mag. The shooter (as Wild Bill) is seated at a table and must hit all four playing cards, plus a bonus target 75 yards away representing Dave Tutt

Aaron Hickok; Bill's great great grandfather. Born Woodbury, Conn. 1742. Reports have him physically very similar to his famous offspring. Served at Lexington with Asa Barn's company. 22 April 75.

Married twice. 19 rugrats. Prolific ole bastard eh.

Son Olivier died of wounds from battle of Sackett's Harbor, NY. 3 Oct 1813. Aaron died in 1814. His son William born North Hero Vt. 1801.

Much, much more came be obtained from perusing perhaps the best of the biographers....Joseph G Rosa. See: They called him Wild Bill et al.....and Wild Bill Hickok The Man & His Myth.

Do any images of Aaron exist? It would be interesting to compare contemporary descriptions with those of Wild Bill

None that I am aware of. Aaron was described as as 5/11in tall, light complexion and sandy colored hair....Bill slightly taller with Auburn hair tho that varys with source. Information as listed comes from "The Hickok Family" by Edith Harmon. Primary source is Rosa; Chp 1, They Called him Wild Bill et.al.
