Macedonian identity hasn't existed in the original form for over 2000 years. There are desceandants. That is it. It is a region in Macedonia, and also in Greece. Overglorified on both ends.

Luxembourg is now an independent country and also a province of Belgium. Before the partitions it used also to include a lot more territory than it does now, so a lot of modern Germans, French and Walloons are of Luxembourgish descent (and often are brought up speaking the same language even before they learn the local one).

But no-one cares.

While I have no bone to pick in this fight, I would merely like to state that what we have here is basically a "petty" problem and one fought in words hopefully, that are also "petty!"

Mace-donia! Just spell it in one of its variations? No one else really give a rats ass!

But, it sure does keep a lot of people mad at one another!

There is little to "regard" in this fight!
