I read a book ,it says all the names of 24 Hsiung-nu(or Xiongnu,Asian Huns)  tribes are Iranian names ......who knows the details?
and I find that the names of Changyu (Hsiung-nu's kings ) are most like IE
for example, the famous Maotun,in ancient chinese ,pronounced "Medu",may equal to the name "baator" means braveman in Iranian, and his father "Touman",may equal to "tumant" in Tocharian or Iranian means "ten thunsands".
The two Changyu after Maotun had the name "Laoshang"(in modern chinese),and "Junchen".
I think , "Laoshang "may equal to the name "roxane ,roxsan",means bright, and Junchen(may be "Kuncen"or something like that)......could anybody give me any advice?
Where there is liberty ,there is homeland.

you mean with 24 hsuing-nu names with the 24 Turkic tribes?
And Maotun is translated as "Bagatur" or as you say "baatur" wich means the same as you said "bravemen" in Turkic.

This is the 24 Turkic tribes from Hsiung-nu:

This is more correct:
