Found these on the web. They are a little crude but I still find them interesting. Does anyone know of other 3D recreation for other historical structures

It's not 3-D but for a tour of the ancient sites in Greece - try this one:

http://www.stoa.org/metis/cgi-bin/cat

there's a similar virtual tour of the taj mahal here:

http://www.taj-mahal.net/indexHome.htm

The same group also does Kew gardens, the British Parliament, St Paul's Cathedral - they have a number of sites that you must register to see all of.

There's a (somewhat clunky) virtual reconstruction of the Great Kiva from Chetro Ketl with good information here:

http://sipapu.gsu.edu/html/kiva.html

The Globe Theater reconstruction is here:

http://virtual.clemson.edu/caah/Shakespr/VRGLOBE/

There are several Roman virtual reconstructions here:

There are lots of others - help us out here folks...

The largest buddhist temple in the world, hwang ryong sa, was built by Silla Korea but was burned down by Mongols(i think)..

I saw a 3D recreation of that but i can't find it now..
