I want to know if there are reliable evidence that the Doctrine of Liempieza de Sangre was applied to the Philippines by the Spaniards.

Historical facts indicate that the Spanish friars did not allow natives to becomes priests. Even in later times, the Mistizo priests were treated as second class friars.

More than doctrine I think it was blatant racism. As far as I know it's true.

Check the ephemerides' article on Jos Rizal: http://www.allempires.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=7940& ;PN=2
