First of all, the Soviet Union has failed completely to send their
disband order, therefore I have disbanded a Soviet unit following my
House Rules (see topic on AEDip01). Anyhow, I hope that Arda
contacts me in 24 hrs., so I can set a deadline for Spring or
(alternatively) search for a replacement.
Anyhow here there is the adjudication:
Britain:
Build A Edinburgh
USSR: NDR!!!
Remove F Gulf of Bothnia (default)
Turkey:
Build F Constantinople

Very intersting Conquest of The Americas map you made. I really like this Versallies map myself.
You should tell your people about this forum, and tell them we usually
have two Diplomacy games going at all times. And we get players quite
easily.

Actually, Versailles *isn't* mine, but rather Martin Kennedy's, who I 'know' in an internettish way. The Hobby community isn't all that large, and the Dip variant design community is smaller than that.
Versailles *is* a nice variant though, to my mind both for playability and realism, though of course, realism is a relative thing. I mean realistic for a Dip variant. Diplomacy is meant to be evocative, not a simulation.

Hi, David,
So far, I have been enjoying your variant. I liked the minor powers element, but some other thought that it was too easy for the owner of a power to take over the country right at the time when they were about to lose it in a vote.
But again, I enjoyed that very much
I will check out your site.

Hello all. I periodically search around for references to my variants on the net (and history is a hobby of mine as well, so I find this site rather interesting), and evidently Maju has been touting some of mine. I understand that Maju is no longer active in this forum, so a P.M. would not do me any good, but I am wondering if someone might pass along my email address: zendip18 AT optonline DOT net.
P.S. By the way two Diplomacy variants of mine, Western World 901 and Conquest of the Americas, are recruiting for players. Contact me if you are interested. The variant maps and rules can be found at my website: http://diplomiscellany.tripod.com/ .

Retreats:
Germany: A Krakow - Wielpolska
Italy: A Austria - Croatia
Winter deadline: MONDAY 15 at 23:59 GMT
Status:
Ownership:
Britain: Brest, Edinburgh, Ireland, Liverpool, London, Oslo, Portugal.
Germany: Austria, Belgium, Berlin, Denmark, Hamburg, Holland,
Marseilles, Munich, Paris, Switzerland.
Italy: Beograd, Madrid, Prague, Rome, Trieste, Tunis.
USSR: Bucharest, Danzig, Finland, Hungary, Kiev, Krakow,
Leningrad, Lithuania, Moscow, Sevastopol, Sweden, Warsaw.
Turkey: Ankara, Athens, Bulgaria, Constantinople, Egypt, Naples,
Smyrna, Syria.
Adjustments:
Britain: Supp 7 Unit 6 Build 1
Germany: Supp 10 Unit 9 Build 1
Italy: Supp 6 Unit 9 Remove 3
USSR: Supp 12 Unit 10 Build 2
Turkey: Supp 8 Unit 8 Build 0
I'd say that Italy has been mauled severely this last turn. Yet it's
not far behind Britain or Turkey, so guess it still has some good
chances. Stalin and Hitler are clearly leading though.

Now that wasn't very diplomatic of you. I thought for sure I'd get some great diplomatic gesture, from the great diplomat.
How funny is that, why wouldn't I be concerned with the past? After all
it tells us how your going to react in the future does it not? It's as
if you're suggesting I shouldn't try to learn from your past actions.
In a histroy forum you say this, how ironic is that?

The newspaper copies were collected from sale and burnt by the Nazi government...
Because the foreign minister is in search of a cease-fire with their old long-term ally, Soviet Union
