I was wondering why is it called Yugoslavia and not Serbia and Montenegro? Considering the fact that Croatia, FYROM, Bosnia and Slovenia are now out and we have those countries flags here. It is even seen as dead on wikipedia. And considering al those slavic nations have their independence, Serbia can hardly be considered Yugoslavia.

Yugoslavia does not exist any more. In 2003 the remainder of Yugoslavia changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro.

Meaning that when I check on the "location" rather then Serbia & Montenegro(or Crna Gora) it says Yugoslavia. When in fact, Yugoslavia has been officially dead since 03 and unofficially since well.... I guess Srebrenica would be the final blow...

Yugoslavia still exists, if temporarily only in Cyberspace.
An temporary exil for those who felt Yugoslav, and not Serb or Croat or Slovene, until the nationalist madness is over.

Yeah, alot of Yugoslavs i know still use the term to refer to themselves colectivly as a group, Sovenians and Croatians are the least likely to do this though.

Then I am thankful for my insomnia; I don't find myself waking up soon after I have fallen asleep because I don't fall asleep.

The creators of Yugoslavia wanted to create a big country on the balkans as union of all south slavs and from there yug/south/+o /conjunction/ + slavia /land of the slavs/

Everybody listen only this which understands.

Interestingly enough, Tito is supposed to have had plans to include Albania in the union...

Maybe it is like the whole United Kingdom. British will refer to themselves as "Scottish", "Welsh", "English", and I'm not sure what people from Northern Ireland call themselves. But, to the point, it seems that Serbia and Montenegro has a very similar thing. Serbians, Montenegrins, and Yugoslavians.

This site was made when? 2001-02? But Yugoslavia didn't change it's name until 2003. So, I guess they didn't change it. They should though.
