Map 1 shows an occupation of a portion of Scandinavia. Specifically the entire Jutland peninsula. What is your source for this.... and the other maps as well.

The various 'Wends' as a client state, of the Huns, is possible; but even that remains in dispute among academia. Simply because the Wends were not in this region and the time of Attila.

They (the Abodrites for example) were reported as allied migrants of Charlemagne much later....introduced into Holstein in opposition to pagan Saxons.

It has been further established that tho well known trading relations between the Wends and Danes had been formed circa 500AD... and most likely previously. And that they had primarily been located on the southern coastline of the Baltic; predominantly to the east of Holstein....both prior and subsequent.

So the depiction of the 'entire peninsula' remains suspect.

It is customary to provide sources in a historical discussion or; and when you especially present material that is in conflict with established sources...be they classic or modern.

This is in keeping with the 'historical method'.

And in particular a response such as ''I did by reading great books'', is insufficient. What great books and what authors, for example, can you source, as to the question at hand.

What evidence, from these source, shows the occupation of the entire Jutland Peninsula as being a part of Attila's kingdom-empire?

2. No I did not live at that time.

3. Perhaps we can never know fully. As sources will indeed differ.

But that is why we have a historical method...to review and subject... data..in context and out, from the era and later, to ongoing analysis..to review. From all known available sources...be they primary-secondary or tertiary.

4. I have studied Socio-political and Military history and taught it at various times and levels; for over 40 years now. And nowhere have I found a source ancient or modern that will substantiate the/your map as being correct.

The Huns did not control the upper Jutland. And as I noted it's problematic that they controlled Holstein through the Wends..as they were not there during the King's reign.

This is not a personal attack and I appreciate your contribution...but you have still not answered the question. Hence until you can prove academia wrong with new evidence. Your map is inaccurate and does not reflect the facts as we know and accept them today.

I encourage you to continue your research. Best wishes.
