I voted for the Cossacks because it's the best RTS,
Medieval is in a class of it's own. Perfect.

I chose RON because AOE series are historically innaccurate, EE only has 1 civ, and the rest I never played.

Starcraft!
I know it's old and has poor graphics, but the game is awesome..
or maybe it's those crazy Koreans who developed so many strategies and tactics to make it awesome..

The best RTS ever is sertainly Age of Kings with its great specialities. In Aok
- You can design modes
- You can design scenarios
- You can make campaigns
- You can create RMS files
- It has a good historical knowledge
- You can make Age Toons
- it is the best

No game gives me the same amount of adrenaline than AoK playing online.
Especially once I played one of the world's best players in an online
tournament. I was sweating.

I usually play AoK because I can make changes with the units Cossacks is good with the editor but it's too hard in other parts (singleplayer, campaigns, scenarios, etc). I didn't play RoN and I disliked EE a lot.

If i remember well Warcraft I, Warcraft II and C&C were the first RTS games. So they are the best because they were first. All other RTS games base on this ideas. I would vote for those 3 games.

Oh yes, you are right. Dune II was first. I forgot about it. I was playing it on Amiga 500.
