I don't think the War on Terror will be over at any time soon, there is no win against it. There will be always a branch or two in some African country that train terrorist, and there is no way to track all of it down, it's like cancer.

Yes, the pea and the shell game. We're told one thing to make us feel warm and fuzzy, then another later that leaves us saying, "what".

There has been and will always be a group of disassociated screwballs somewhere that want to "change the world". Most times they don't know why, nor do they have a clue about what to replace the "Old order" with.
Princep's Legacy.

True. Terrorism is the preferred choice of such groups - like the Russian and Bulgarian communists used terrorism widely as a war tactic in the beginning of the 20 century /earlier in Russia actually/ so there is nothing new under the sun. For example, the Bulgarian communists blew up the church "St. Nedelia" in Sofia during a liturgy, to kill the tzar - which didn't happen, only 150 ordinary people got killed; terrorism was a very respected way to go with the communist "struggle against capitalism".
