The Chilean Character

 

The first thing a foreigner could note once he put a foot over chile would be..this people seems really more silent and not so exaggerated as most of other latin americans. And it's in fact a big clue for them why we can seem more shy compared to other latin americans, maybe less warm. We are people who as a whole would like to recognize with anything else but chilean, but at the same time we welcome  foreigners quite well over here (with some exceptions ). We seems to don't have problems to make friends  easily, even if we are friendly and the other person isn't, therefore friends and family are very important in our life. We also like to make meets in "picadas" which are cheap places where u can eat and drink for a relatively good price.

We are a land of poets , since we live isolated of many other countries and at the same time we have landscapes which can vary from the coldest artic climate till the most desertic subsaharian one there is not any kind o scenary which we lack over here and that we couln't get inspiration from.

We also as a whole nation  like to work long, and longer than many others do.

Chile have been progressing contantsly now everybody is educating , even our beloved natives can go to university and get the degree they want.

 

We  like to make fun of everything , foreigners can be surprised how we can treat our friends in such insulting language while we aren't really meaning that sometimes, we like to have fun of that.

We are easily ashamed people sometimes, we like to make the things smaller than they are, when we are having a good day we usually answer , that we are ok, and when the day isnt not so good we say it's plain bad hahaha. We can be friendly but sometimes pretty negative and everybody is better than us but that's cause we want to improve everytime we think everything always can be better and we also love football btw. 

 

We also have a history of warriors, and its reflected nowadays in how people do everything to can surge and have a better live for their families and themselves.
