sorry, its axactly like that , thousends of Jews (even tens of thousends) can track their ancestrial centuries and two millenias ago in the land of Israel, while not all of the Arab can do so (also Arab immigrated around the ME and setteled in Palestine).

exactly as you just defined it as Arab , part of the greater Arab world and not a seperate national self cognitive ethnicity called Palestinian ever exist.
