Ignostic.

Defined as someone who wants an actual MEANINGFUL DEFINITION of "god" before even getting started on the question of whether there is one.

Also, something of an Existentialist--Monist.
Who is the great dragon whom the spirit will no longer call lord and god? "Thou shalt" is the name of the great dragon. But the spirit of the lion says, "I will." - Nietzsche

I wonder when satanism was 'invented'

and I don't understand why they call it satanism there are many times of the 'religion' and few have anything to do with the biblical satan

I am agnostic, but of catholic formation. I respect religion but I don't agree with the dogma.
I was also into freemasonry a decade ago, but I didn't pay the monthly fees... so LOL

That's not true, pinguin. When you just don't care you are careless. Wink

From Wikipedia: "Agnosticism is the philosophical view that the truth value of certain claims — particularly metaphysical claims regarding theology, afterlife or the existence of deities, ghosts, or even ultimate reality — is unknown or, depending on the form of agnosticism, inherently impossible to prove or disprove. It is often put forth as a middle ground between theism and atheism."

Said in somewhat simpler terms it means we have no way of knowing whether or not the truths of religion are valid, hence it doesn't make sense to neither believe in nor deny them. This is my own personal view although I agree with the atheists and Richard Dawkins in that believing a flying spaghetti monster exists in a distant galaxy simply because it can't be disproven makes less sense than not believing in what we have had no clear evidence of.

Of course discourse is pointless since it always comes back to wishful thinking in the end. We are too afraid of non-existence and the absence of universal justice to ever believe in what is most likely.

Usually "Anglican-I-think" in my experience.

You mean like Greek Catholic? What are Greek catholics anyway? How do they differ from Greek Orthodox or Latin Catholic?

AFAIK καθολικός means both universal and complete, so there can only be one church that is truly catholic. Which is, from my point of view the one holy and apostolic church, what is popularly known as the Orthodox church.Wink
