You might like England.

I would like to go to Scotland, Ireland or some Nordic country - main reason the climate and the weather, for no other reason I would move.

My ancestry is in Ontario, but if I had a choice I would pick England or Sweden. Yes Ontario summers sucks! I hate the summers and adore the winters

I wouldn't migrate. My friends and family are in the US.

Well, I will definitely leave France one day to settle in an English-speaking country depending on job opportunities, I would definitely go for Australia, the US, the UK or Canada. Practically speaking, I would choose either the US or the UK, from a climate point of view, I would go for Canada (I like the cold). Another reason is my distrust of France's culture, which I believe to be rather socialistic, I would like to find more open mentalities, that is.

Well, I was never treated so rudely as when I was in Quebec City, so they seem to want to be truly French.
However, I doubt the French think the Quebecois are French.

I almost did, but their winter was HORRIBLE. It RAINED. Rain in winter is just a nightmare abomination of all that is good and right. It wasn't that cold, but there can't be anything possibly worse than getting soaked in near freezing temperatures. -20F with dry clothes is a heck of alot better. Wasn't there for the fall, but spring and summer were great though. Just the English winter, please God no!

I would want Toronto summer at any price. I live in country where you have 5 months of the year with avg highs of 40C+ while the avg Toronto summer highs are in the mid 20sC. What you call Ontarian summer is actually most of our winter with some parts of Onatrio even having colder summers.
I have several dream places that I might choose, Canada is one of them. My only problem however is winters, I hate the cold. I hate our warm if not hot winters (its typical to get 25C+ during a normal winter) and I doubt that the -20C Canadian winters will be to my liking.

I wanted to teach in Greece for a few years but even as an ethnic Greek that is hard to get work there. Limited immigration to Greece from other countries is good, as long as they come there to assimilate. I do not believe in multi-culturalism.You can constibute parts of your culture but assimilate. BORDERS, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE!! Greece needs to also protect its enviroment and limited natural resources, although, they should never close their borders altogether. I still believe people of Greek heritage should have priority but that is my opinion as a Greek American.
I have immigrated from one part of my country to another- Washington State to Arizona state. Now I can work on my Spanish again and for a change learn it!!!
Now whenever I drive back from Sierra Vista or any border town I have to pull over for the border patrol check north of the city. I do have family in Arizona and a great great Uncle, father's side, buried in Tombstone, he was murdered over his mining claim.
In many ways there are cultural differences in my new area from living in Eastern Washington (state). I need to wear jeans more and change my look a little according to my older brother. COWBOY LOOK- NOT!!!
