Ladies and Gentlemen,

it was a very close game in the end. But the deserved team and taker did win.

Third place to our Danish Sport Expert. The big surprise of our betting game from the North........ Northman. Congratulations.

Second, runner up, the Football oracle from outer space, who's attendance was a great honor...Seko. Basketball, Football, Hockey, History, Rumors.. doesn't matter. Seko the allrounder.

And the winner is.......  Temudamus. The predictian miracle from South Germany. His prophecies came true. And allthough he's a fan of an inexpressible football team his must be called The Titan of Tips.

1.
temujin 2:1 0 3.83 4 37

Mathematically I still got a shot at wining this thing.  That's just not right.  It's gonna be pretty tricky though.   I gonna have to bet on Turkey and Russia to the Final and get the score right in least one of them.  And then Podolski's gotta score two more goals for me.  How is that gonna work?  I said mathematically.

I noticed that too.  You and I are only winners today, hehehe.  Cheers
I changed my bet about 12 hours before the game myself.

I didn't do so, cause my belief in the Russian power wasn't strong enough.

Apparently I'm not as crazy as my self consciousness tells me.  I got the extra time right too.  I was so hoping for the Dutch to score another goal though.

Thanks to Temujin for renewing my faith in Hiddink.

OK, I'm crazy.  I just changed my bet on the Netherlands 2:1 to Russia 3;2.  I don't know.  Turkey made me crazy.  I shouldn't bet against Hiddink anymore.  So there you go.

I think the Dutch can score two goals based on their performance so far.  Can Russia score three?  I will say 2;2 in the regulation and Russia wins in the extra time.

Alright that should be enough to finish me.

I can't believe I'm still in the 4th place.

Looks like the only one that can catch up Temusputin is Sekodamus.  A Civil War in Germany?  How about a Civil (or not so civil) War in AE?   Too bad both are nice guys.

I bet on turkey, but since Temujin bet on Croatia I'm seriously considereing changing my bet Big%20smile
well, because I'm stubborn I won't, though I know its very risky (Croatia is a very stable and good team).

Defeat allows no explanation
Victory needs none.
It insults the dead when you treat life carelessly.

Possibly the biggest upset in World Cup history along with USA beating Egland in 1950 and Senegal beating the defending champs France 2002, least from what I can think of right now.

North Korea vs Italy 1966

USA vs England 1950

Senegal vs France 2002

Italy's nightmare against the Koreans continued  36 years later with bit of home cooking controversy.

The South Koreans also revenged Portugal for their nothern borthers in the same cup.

Long way from 1954,
