I suppose I should say that Australia will win...though I believe they lost to Iraq recently. My friend is in the Australian and Chinese advertisements for the Asian Cup actually...

Unfortunately for SK, having the best fans doesn't really count for much, but even if it did, Iran would still win.

Bah soccer... so many dives. Australia lost a player over something which was so obviously faked a half-blind, drunk, mentally imbalanced, swollen-nosed gold-fish could have told you so! Meh.

I wonder what would happen If Turkey joined this organization instead of European one. I think Turkey would easily win this cup. What do you think?

I'd love for either Iran or Ozbekistan to win!

Turkey is a tough team, but you can not predict any thing in Football. All Traditional Asian powers ( Japan, Iran, South Korea and Saudi Arabia) beside Australia and Iraq can be a big challenge for Turkey.

My prediction:
Semi Finals......
Iran (Prediction) v Iraq 3-1
Japan v Saudi Arabia (Prediction) 0-2
3rd Place:
Iraq v Japan 1-1 (PSO: 2-4)
Fianls:
Iran v Saudi Arabia 2-2 (PSO:5-3)
Iran wins cup.
About Turkey... Hum... Let's predict... Turkey had many experienced, Senior players like the retired Rustu Recber, but they're a bit hard to seek young, fresh players.
Btw, next Cup Australia will won.
My Favs are Iran and Australia.. I don't like East Asian powers except Korea.

Iran youth team beat Turkey last year. The biggest problem of Asian teams is that they show too much respect and fear for European teams, but when Iran plays Turkey it does not see it as a European team like Germany, Italy etc.

I didn't mean to say that Turkey would be unbeatable. Of course, Iran -and all other major Asian powers- could beat Turkey. However I believe Turkey would dominate this cup very easily. Turkey is much better than any asian team in terms of everything. As for Turkey being not seen as a European team like Germany or Italy. Germany and Italy are not just a European team but also football schools. They are football giants. So probably nobody would consider Turkey to be like Germany or Italy -even though Turkey beat Germany last year- . Anyway, I think that Turkey could pretty much play "european class" game against Iran, If you mean that.
