Everyone who works on this should be applauded for their work. To think that everybody is simply volunteering time for nothing else but pure enthusiasm.
After I went over this months issue, I went skimmed through some of the old stuff and I have to say: this has become quite the staff; one that I am proud to be among.

Is the smiley shows the editors' thought about the magazine?
Participation is low.If I have fluent English I would contribute too.

Jagatai, you can write no matter how well, we have proficient people doing the proof reading.
Well, good that no one bashed us about doing nothing for June. I'd also like that this be Global Announcement and the old one removed from it.
EDIT: What I managed was taking the old one down and making this an Announcement for this forum.

On other news, I've just made it a hidden topic due to the fact that I found some several graphic mistakes in it.

Some of the "more" buttons are in the wrong place. Also the pic of the month and pic quiz pic are in the wrong places.

When do they start becoming out of position?
Hmm, Not sure what the problem is, works fine for me at home and work.
I leave this version up and start working on a back up version to right the problem. Could take a few days.
If there are any HTML wiz's out there with any ideas?

I clicked on the "more" button which is positioned over the text on the
Klondike Gold Rush, and I get a history on bread. I click on the "more"
button, which is positioned over the intro text about bread, and I get
kilroy's new concise history of the crusades lit review. These are only
a couple of examples.

I was using firefox at home this morning and it was stuffing up. I'm not at uni using IE and it is perfect. So what you experience is the same as with me here.

Good job, guys! I enjoyed the articles, and my son, Alex, loved the articles by Rider on the Stargate series. He recognized all the characters mentioned. I was amazed! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, They are the beginning of a new section (that will be mostly written by me, as it seems). I am fairly confident he can see something about Stargate the next one although my list-to-write includes more from LotR currently. Did he like them, did you like them? Paul, pretty fine although the Stargate ones are a little out of place for me. And THIM is a little high too (a cm or two).

Right good these -- I've been rather busy of late, no chance to work on my articles, but I have one half written and I'll try to finish it up before the next edition. Just one note, on "This Month in History" -- I guess "Johan Hus" is how you might say it in German, but historically we would call him Jan Hus -- calling it the "Johan Hus Riot" is a bit imprecise when we can say the "First Defenestration of Prague" (defenestration -- thrown out a window -- see also the beginnings of the 30 Years War and Jan Masaryk) -- also, written "capital of Bohemia (today's CSR)" -- the modern day country is called the Czech Republic, not the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. And this sentence - "It was the beginning of the Hussite wars, whose history is told in an excellent article on AEs main section." why thank you very much. One more thing, English note rather than Historical. "the motions of the enraged people of Prague finally swapped over" looks to me like you mixed an idiom. "the emotions of the enraged people of Prague finally boiled over" fits better. Sorry for the pedantry

Nice Timotheus.
defenestrations... what a nice word, no doubt coming from the latin 'fenestra', a 'window'???
