Hello all!
 
 As per our appreciation for your participation, on behalf of AllEmpires staff, we continue to share our thanks for your involvement. Your input on this forum greatly appreciated.
 
Now we ask something of you.
 
We would like your opinions and sage advice about this forum and the webpage overall. Go ahead and share your thoughts about our layout, site speed, subforums, details like 'active topics', quiz, picture posting and whatever else you have noticed concerning the mechanics of AE. The more gremlins we can identify the better off we will be in maintaining this site.
 
Have at it. We look forward to your comments.
 
Oh! One more thing. This is not an opportunity to dis the staff or eachother (darn).

Average page views per month:  1,452,976
Average visits per month:            286,760
Average hits per month:              6,234,334

Well one thing thats been bugging me for a bit is when you go into the Tavern and under the Sports sub forum in its description thingo it says alk not Talk (which I'm gathering its supposed to be), so is it possible that it could get fixed?

I find it easing and it is much easier to find a certain topic not using the search function this way. Although, I'd understand if it becomes tedious if you'd want to scan through each and every one of these forums for new posts....Confused

Is there any chance you could allow the magazine to be read in Opera? I, like many, use this browser, but it seems I have to use either IE or Mozilla to read it.

It is most likely an exercise in self-indulgence, but I was thinking that a counter (not sure of the technical name) of the amount if profile views you've had, even if it just came up on your profile, not beside your name when you post. Would just be interesting to know how many people's looking at your details! What you think?

All of these itiems currently raised have to do with the software's capabilities. Profile views and Opera browsers are currently not available features. However, I'll take another look and see what we can or can't do.

Justintian:  TQ is normally run about every three months - we should be do for one around the end of July.

Yes we had a total quiz near the end of April, which went well. Justinian, there was also an "All Battles" quiz made by Rider around March, which was refreshing and fun.

Why don't you sent Quizzes to each Members Private Messenger so each Member can participate??
 
btw, When I was suspended, why did my name changed from Balian d'Ibelin to Balain??

Every 3 months we run a quiz where everyone can participate - the next one is coming up shortly if we follow schedule.
btw, When I was suspended, why did my name changed from Balian d'Ibelin to Balain??
 
The forum sofware generates an error if the character '  (single quote) appears in a username or in a signature. That is why it was changed.
 
Let me know by PM if you want to replace that character with another - ie.  Balain dIbelin.  I can make the change for you.

The next Total Quiz will probably be in september - we had to postpone it a month.
 
It will be announced very clearly in good time, so you really cant miss it.
 
Normaly it consists of 18-22 questions that is to be answered electronically on a special form.
There are two rounds - unanswered questions in round one will pass on to round two.
 
Total duration normaly 72 hours.
