The US military are headhunting him apparently, they want him to run things in Iraq. |
They have to be very fast. Such specialist are needed everywhere.

Not only that but look at the damn group too! Anyway, the main thing is that they didn't make it either. I'll die happy.

Sweden's display against the Spaniards were shameful. Two of the goals were bad mistakes. :(
I feel sorry for the Scots and Norwegians, I would really have liked to have seen them in the cup. And the English, but of egocentric reason - we never loose to the English.

I've been pleased with Spain's play thus far. Their selection went through some rough patches last year, and fizzled out during the end of the world cup. Leading their group should give them the confidence and momentum to continue their good play and fortune.

Ok Iceland missed the finals, but on sunday the draw of the wc 2010 european qualifying matches will be held.
Hope Iceland will face England - 6 definite Points. Netherlands another 6 points, so we will do the way to South-Africa.
Meanwhile the Germans are on their way the European throne. No other team will be a serious opponent.
Remember 1996---
and 1967...
The Icelandic male football team was badly defeated by Denmark, 3-0, in Copenhagens Parken stadium yesterday. Iceland has not beaten Denmark in Parken since 1967.
Denmark attacked aggressively throughout the game and Iceland did not have many chances to score. Iceland had two opportunities towards the end of the game, but blew them both, Morgunbladid reports.
Icelands star footballer and former captain of the Icelandic team, Eidur Smri Gudjohnsen, who plays with Barcelona, recently decided to leave the national team due to personal reasons.
The game between Iceland and Denmark in 1967 has become legendary. Iceland beat Denmark 14-2 with Hermann Gunnarsson and Helgi Nmason as the main goal scorers.

Poland can be a tough opponent, at least against Germany. then we have the most obvious, Italy, and well the Czechs are not to be underestimated, same goes for the Croats.

Czech, Croats can put up a good fight against Germans as Temujin said and Italy, Spain, France will be strong as usual. Germany seems to be the strongest at the moment but we will see.
concerning Poland it would be great to through first stage but our only star is our coach - Leo Beenhakker . Maybe He can produce some miracle.

My favorites are Italy and Czech and I really guess both of them can give a big fight to the mighty German team.

i don't see Spain and France very strong at the moment, Ok, France is not bad and not easy to beat but they have too many problems. more surprising is the bad situation of the Netherlands, given their players they should be a top candidate. also Romania is quite strong but we've beaten them before in a friendly and quite decisively.

Spain have great players but they somehow don't play that well in the tournaments. I don't rate their coach either but maybe this tournament will be turning point for them.
