http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/index.xmlhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_of_WarcraftThat should give a quick overview...other than that, all I know is it is an online computer game that a lot of teens and young people play. Other forumers would probably give a better description!

Then how are you able to be posting on this
|
Duh, multiple computers with internet connection....... Anyway, I just downloaded a free trial with one of my friends recommendations. If anyone wants to try it just go to worldofwarcraft.com and type in ten day free trial in the search box. Warning, you should have a good computer with enough free space. It'll take up over 5 GB of memory.

I don't play it either. Nothing against it; I just lack the time. :(

I preferred Guild Wars to WoW as there was no additional online fees to pay.

And about half of the WOW players are game-obessessed Koreans. I know, I used to be one of them. You have no idea how great the Korean environment is for internet online games. Almost everyone have computers, and there are so many game rooms where you can play online game (PC room, is how we describe it). Heck, most of the major cities provide internet services...

It looks terrific, but I already invested grotesque amounts of time and
energy on the game AOEII: The Conquerors. I know from that to just stay
the hell away from WoW, I have a life these days and very much intend
on keeping it.

I play the game in a windowed form, and I had "alt-tab"ed out while I was on a gryphon.
