Why is my neck so flat? It's not only me, but almost every Kurd from Iran has a flat neck.

My father told me that they lay children in a basket made of wood. So the back of the neck gets flat.

Is this just a Kurdish "thing", or does other people also do it in the area?

How old is this tradition?
They don't speak enough about the Kurds, because we have never taken hostages, never hijacked a plane. But I am proud of this.

That is something that exists in various cultures globally.  Some used a basket and others use a board to which the child is tied with cloth wrappings.  Several indigenous cultures in Mexico and south America have the same flattened skull characteristics.Smile
"Arguing with someone who hates you or your ideas, is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter what move you make, your opponent will walk all over the board and scramble the pieces".
