There's something really primal about this painting, which I like. Unfortunately I'm unaware of the artist's name, but I think it is titled Baucis and Philemon turning into a tree.

What a handsome figure of a dragon. No wonder I fall madly in love with the Alani Dragon now, the avatar, it's a gorgeous dragon picture.

I've just come across this artist called Gordon Napier, and I thought I would share his wonderful artistry.

Two lovely paintings here. The first called, "Psyche opening the golden box", by John William Waterhouse, 1903, oil on canvas.

Adrienne de Boucherville, 1912. I couldn't find a copyable picture without a sign on it.

My fiancée tells me she's been dreaming herself as Proserpina, with me taking some of her pomegranate, so I thought this painting by Dante Gabriel Rossetti called Proserpine would be a good painting to place on this page.

I haven't seen these before now, but I've got to admit they have a certain charm.
