Okay, here's an easy one!
She was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1905. She started working in a barbershop as a lather girl (hmm sounds interesting!) and later a model. She went on to become one of Americas leading film actresses and was especially known for her reclusiveness. Her famous line was I vant to be alone! [emphasis supplied on her accent]!

WOW, I'm amazed that no one was able to identify this woman. Well, here's the answer:
She is..... Meena Keshwar Kamal also referred to as the "Heroine of Afghanistan" and founder of RAWA (Revolutionary Association for the Women of Afghanistan).

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar was the CIA's favorite mujahideen commander. He was referred to by CIA cheifs as "our blue-eyed mujahid".

Hekmatyar was given refuge by the Iranian regime after he became an ally of Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.
The Iranian regime also gave refuge to Hazara (Shia) and Tajik (Shia) leaders, most notably, Ismail Khan of Herat, southwestern Afghanistan. Iran was also the biggest supporter of the mujahideen in Bosnia and sent thousands of fighters and guns to the Bosniaks. Are you saying that the Iranians should not support their co-religionists, Mazier? If Iran did not support the Bosniaks during the Balkan War, then they would have been completely annihilated.
Also, isn't one of bin Laden's many sons living in or around Tehran, Iran now?

Mazier, I don't know where you came across the idea that Iran was harboring Hekmatyar who is a Pashtun Sunni Muslim. His supporters are the Pashtuns and other Sunni Afghans who live in southern Afghanistan and the tribal areas of northwestern Pakistan (where some 31.5 million Afghans of Pashtun and Baloch ethnicity reside.)

Mazier jaan,
The western parts of Pakistan, i.e. Baluchistan, the North West Frontier Province, and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas are all AFGHAN areas. 18.99% of Pakistan's population is of Iranic/Iranian descent and these are not refugees, their lands were given by the British when Pakistan was formed in 1947 and the Durand Line expired in 1993 and these areas of Pakistan were to go back to Afghanistan and Iran, respectively.
Afghans living in Afghanistan: 31.056 million
Afghans (largely Pashtun and Baloch) living in Pakistan: 31.50 million
Hence, the reason Hekmatyar enjoys so much support in Pakistan and not Iran (which is largley Shia).

Ahem, now that I have all of your attention:
This is another brave and strong woman which I highly respect and support. At only 27 years of age, she is the feminist voice in her country and is considered to be the most famous woman of her country. She fears being assassinated, like all the other outspoken women before her, and she knows her mission can get her killed, to which she responds, They will kill me but they will not kill my voice because it will be the voice of all women of [my country]. I admire her when she says, I am not better than any of the others, but I am young and energetic and the women of [my country] need me. Every country needs strong women like this one!

Well, she is another women's rights activist from Afghanistan. The more I read about these strong women from Afghanistan, the more impressed I am with them. These are women that risk death for their cause, and yet they are willing to take that chance in order to keep the women's issue on the agenda. My hat goes off to them and I wish them much success!
Her name is MALALAI JOYA

She was born in 1582, of Angoloan descent and was a member of Jagas (an ethnic militant group against Portuguese slave traders). She waged war, as a military leader, against European slave hunters. Totally devoted to the resistance movement, she formed alliances with other foreign powers to free Angola of European influence. Her struggle helped awaken others that followed her and forced them to mount offensives against invaders, including the mother of the great Zulu warrior Chaka; Madame Tinubu of Nigeria, Kaipkire of the Herero people of South West Africa, and the female army that followed the Dahomian King, Behanzin Bowelle.

Well i am not sure, i remember my history class in school's time. We have learned something about slavery and imperialism in Africa. I took a look at my old school books and i found this woman: Nzinga Mbande. The story was about a Dutch alliance and Nzinga Mbande against portogal.

She was born in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany in 1872. She was known by some to be obstinate, cold and withdrawn, but also known by others to be loyal to her country and family. Her brother died of hemophilia and, three years later, her mother and sister died from diptheria. She became engaged in Coburg, Germany to a famous Russian, and married him for love, even though their families didnt agree. They were married for 23 years and had five children. The empire rejoiced with a 301 cannon salute at the birth of the heir to the throne (the only son they had). She ruled with her famous Russian husband, but they were disliked by certain groups. Ultimately, thinking she was posing for a photograph, they were assassinated.
