Thanks for your welcome and the info. Artists such as George Catlin and Karl Bodmer presented a view of American Indians while many of them were still an independant people.
Their art was of Indians in their traditional attire and natural settings unlike the photographs of Edward Curtis who dressed most of his subjects with costumes he had collected.
