So, who his your nation's favorite pet hate? Which other nation do you have a rivalry with? And by the way, tell us why.

For korea it's either China or Japan.  I think its more on Japan.  The reason is quite obvious- centuries of invasion from both (But the Japanese colonization being the most recent).

So when there's a soccer match, Koreans won't care if they lose to France, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Russia, etc but they would all rumble their butts to see Korea defeat Japan in soccer.  There were several occasions when Korea lost to Japan in soccer, and the fans were, incredible.

Grrr..

The Belgians are the victims of many jokes in the Netherlands, but we don't really hate them.
A research was once made. The most popular foreign people are Belgians (while the Dutch were the most impopular foreign people in Belgium ). The most impopular used to bo the Germans, but last years they're rapidly gaining popularity. I forgot the most impopular foreign people now, but I think it's the Americans or French (or perhaps Turks or Moroccans, because there many of them here).

Ehm, I think for Norway it must be Sweden.

It's not a hate relationship, we get along quite nice when we meet at a bar/pub on vacation somewhere (lol ) but we love to beat Sweden in sports. Winter sports, yey!

Probably because Sweden ruled us for some 100 years... and they suck!

Dunno why it isn't on the same level with Denmark though, although there are something similar. But it's all good fun in my eyes!

Greeks have a great rivally towards the turks, but i also think some sort of tension is growing with the Albanians as well. i think the biggest rivals to the US is China, yet i do not think China can yet compete with the US yet.

thats not really a historical rivalry though, its only really emerged in the last decade or so

but in terms of modern rivalries, that is a big one and i think it will continue to grow to a much larger scale

Russia and Germany. We have been invaded by them/invading them for centuries. Now that we hav eno interest in invading each other it's finally over. Bad rivalry too. Germans and Russians are highly endurant and great troops. We also have an advantage in numbers and Germans are extremely organized. Most of hte time (I think) we won, but there were German victories.

how about the napoleonic wars when the Russian army was commanded by Bennigsen and Wittgenstein at times...no, Germany is NOT Russias historical rival...

Germany's historical rival is France, even though nowadays we have the best relations with them...in terms of football the Dutch are our arch-enemies.

If there were no football the Netherlands and Germany would probably have united already
