those of you who know about genetics will know that south asia was populated by a ancient group of people known as (ASI) Ancestral South Indians. How do you think they looked like?
This component is actually found from central asia/Iran all the way down to Sri Lanka
Present day Tamils and Sri lankans have the most of this genetic component at 60-70% on average, while Iranians or Central Asians will only have this at 2-5% range.
Pakistanis also have this, these are the percentage numbers according to some studies
Ancestral south asian component in each caste community and region
According to that irula tribes[TN] and pulliyar[kerala] and paniya tribes[kerala] have highest asi component. All top percentages belong to south indian tribals
