Greetings,
My favourite quote would be;
Freedom is the recognition of necessity- Friedrich Engels
there are a couple more but I think it will be better to write them when I can remember every single one.

Sanela: "MySpace does have many benefits as well."
Salih: "Yes, several students at the Technical Academy prepared a report on MySpace."
Sanela: "Oh, really?"
Salih: "Yes, they even found a page for Maria Callas, the opera singer. She has a MySpace page even though she's dead."
Sanela: "I bet she votes in our elections too."
Semiha Borovac:
"Our elections are open and fair. Bosniaks, Bosnian Serbs, and Bosnian
Croats are all represeted, as are the dead. They can even vote two or
three times if they want to."
Married with Children:

Wife: Look, honey, Elvi!

I know. I don't get why people think Helen Keller is so great. I mean, yeah, she overcame her problem, but she did not do much else for the world.
|
Well she is a writer.... 1st her problems arne't easy at all, over coming them is great thing... 2nd she became an example of struggle for those who suffer from illness and so on......

I know, but there is too much attention put on her and not authors who actually did have a great effect on the world.

Hi,
Napoleon minister, Tayllerand said during the congress of Vienna:
If things go well without saying, it goes even better by saying them
This is how Churchill started a speech in Strasboug after the WWII:
I'm going to do something that is going to be a great pain for every
single one of you and that going to greatly alterate our two nations
relationships: I'm going to speak french.
Charles De Gaulle to a journalist:
It is not at my age that you become a dictator
Do not contradict your wife, just wait for her to change her mind.

Three great quotes!
"Eat a good breakfest, for tonight we will all dine in Hades"
That is what King Leonides of Sparta told his men before the battle of Thermopylae. I think that quote is so amazing because it reveals the character of those soldiers, who knew that they were facing certain death but still went on because of their ideals and honor. Which I think is rare today.
"God I fear slightly, the Sultan not at all, and the Grand Vizier no more than my own horse"
That is what the Bosnian noble Husein-beg replied when he was asked if he was scarred rebelling against the Ottoman Empire when fighting for Bosnian autonomy.
"The common people believe that religion is true, the wise believe that it is false, and the rulers believe that it is useful"
Seneca
