well, the game came out around a week ago. I ran over and picked up a copy from my town's grossly huge wal-mart super center first thoughts: WOW. I've never been a fan of the single-player medieval style RPG games, but the graphics on Oblivion are amazing. I have the graphics boosted up almost all the way on my PC and it's ridiculous. Definitely sets a new standard for RPG's. The graphics on the XBOX360 are also pretty impressive, but the XBOX360 game leaves some things out that are in the PC version. I like the freedom that the game allows. anyone else play oblivion yet?

I did, and i'll tell you. Playing a naked old man who fists people is so much fun (hand-to-hand and unarmored skills).

I like how if you start stealing stuff, you get approached by the thieves guild, and how if you start murdering people you get approached by the "Dark Brotherhoo" build. Which, is pretty much an assassin/homicidal maniac guild. There's so much to do in the game that I find myself always bouncing between a bunch of different things, onyl to have made no real progress after hours of play

hand to hand is not so doable in this game i think
Also unarmored... does not exist
i'm now playing a combat/stealth type, with marksman, heavy armor and blade, and the game is much easier

I'm an old Morrowind fan, and Oblivion is even better than its predecessor. I play it on the PC, too, there are less skills in Oblivion, but the combat is better, I'm only about a third through it, though, it's another long game.

My friend has the game. It's funny when he picks off someone in the dark to join the Dark Brotherhood. He is a stealthy archer, has light armour, and very energetic. He has already beaten the game.

The coin is pretty good, but you must frame it ASAP , becuase it dents very easily.
The pocket book is very lame, it has information on the races and some history of the empire, and thats about it, nothing new to read there (already in-game books have most of the information).
