maybe it's a game, you now tis party game where you have to balance an egg on a spoon? maybe they're doing the same thing with the boots an their rifles...to add to the difficulty they have no trousers and are under enemy fire...

For sure these fellows have just been beat by the Scots, in the famous "War of the trouser " They lost and now must forfit their pants and because they have no kilts must go in their underware.
