I guess American Indians discovered tomato juice, but did they invent Bloody Marys? Did they have vodka, paprika and Worcestershire sauce?

My dad grows cherry tomatoes, the only problem is that he eats each individual one as it becomes ripe - cheeses my mum off to no end.

Can I ask a simple question, one that has been lost among the annals of this thread?
Is a tomato really a fruit or not? Or does it exist at all?

Who is "we"? You mean you, yourself, and your "fancy" tomato garden which by the way is just a figment of the imagination?

Sometimes I lurk in this thread.
However, thankfully most of the time I behave rationally.

You would only be doing a disservice to this community (and the tomato community if it existed) if you do that.

I found this picture very disturbing... and concluded that tomato is neither fruit or vegetable; it's a disease.
As you can see, mutated tomato' plan to infect the human beings to overthrow Mac, and replace their infamous apple logo with... you guessed it, tomato!
Apples' resistance seem to be futile?
Pekau's insanity is still at work...

It is better to have one tomato in hand, than ten in the sky. Especially if they are flying towards you.

I have the ulcer. And everyone knows tomato is bad for the stomach.
Tomatoes are designed to cause pain to ones with stomach diseases. And agony is a path to awakening.
There is an esoteric alien civilisation that embraces the awakened after painful trials. They have sent tomato to recruit more members from earth.
Both painful and delicious. Damn alien tomatoes. I am still very far from maturation.
