(This will be chapter 00 or 1 in the book. The chapters here are out of order due to settings and due to order we added them.)
Arthur's battle sites match the 9 Saxon Shore sites, and when one sees this then when one also looks at other Arthurian places etc one also happens to see/find that there are also good matches for many other Arthurian places etc within the Saxon Shore area. We have 7 candidates for Arthur's birth place "Tintagel": - Hoxne - Arthur "born" at Glein & "died" at Badon? - Thancastre - Thanet - Tenterden - "Lyonesse" - Guinnion/Dover.
Tintagel in Cornwall/Devon is said to only have become associated with Arthurian since ca 1100s ad. (Except for the Tintagel Artognou Stone inscription, but this is probably a memory of the original Arthur in the south-east shortly after Arthur's time.)
The real original Arthurian "Tintagel" could be Guinnion/Dover because both are castles/forts and Tintagel in Cornwall has analogies with Dover: photos of Tintagel look similar to Dover and its cliffs & strait(s). Tintagel is sometimes identified as Camelot and we have seen/shown that Camelot seems to match either the city of the legion Richborough or castellum Gunnion at Dover. Guinnion/Dover seems to be associated with women: Igraine, Yseut, Mary, Guinevere, Morgana, Shallot, Martia/Marsia.
Tintagel's name maybe connected with Tingletangel or Tinkeltum Tankeltum, and either/both names are somewhat similar to Thanet's name Thanet/Tenet/Thanatos, and their geographies are maybe sort-of similar. Compare the "Island of Oghgul/Oehgul or Tingle, Angul/Angel" in the HB VR of Gunn. Arthur comes from the city of lions/lyonesse in an alternative tradition, and we have seen/shown how the city of lions analogously matches the city of the lion Richborough. Thanet's name is also similar to Tenterden's. Tenterden is assiociated with Sandwich and Godwin sands in local history/tradition. Tintagel is supposed to be from din "fort" + tagell "throat". Thanet/Thanatos from tan "bright, fire, beacon", or thanatos "death". Tenterden from denn "woodland, pasture". Ulfin of Ricaradoch is associated with Jordan of Tintagel in the HRB. Ricaradoch is similar to Richborough/Rutupi. Tintagel is near a castle of Dimilioc in the HRB.
Tintagel could possibly be connected with Hegist's Thancastre in Linnuis/"Lindsey/Lincoln" the HRB. Thancastre's name and nature seems to match either Ythancester/Othona/Dubglas, or Thanet, or castellum Guinnion/Dover.
