I'm wondering what is your idea of a good education system. What is the situation in your place and what would you change?

Personally I increasingly think that a mixed system using the strength of a public system and of a private one is right.

My country (France) is big on centralisation and public schools. Unfortunately we are facing tremendous problems that could be solved by giving to the parents, the students and the staff the means to do as good as they can.

The voucher system exists already in Sweden and I think it would be a very good idea to extend it in the rest of Europe.
