Because I was trained in infectious disease at Fitzsimons Army Medical center, and I regard it as a serious topic reserved for serious people, not scaremongers, spin doctors and those in constant reality denial. It might be part hysteria part shitty reaction...examples abound in world history. might be a CIA conspiracy as was alleged by 'black activists' ref AIDS or Crack years ago.
point is the most advanced medical nation on the planet when it comes to RDA. is handcuffed viz pcness and inept policy managers who can't find their fu*king head if it was on the table in front of them. I don't want a repeat of AIDS..lost a soldier to that many moons ago. Had to raise hell thru the CoC just to get to see him in quarantine. And call me scaremonger if ya like. but a concise and active deterrence counter, whether pc or other, is the key. this is not a new disease. as for whether there shold be a cure or not. dunno. politics-budgets and profit often, as in the military, override good intentions and efforts. not to mention common sense and what's good for a nation at large. ------------- "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" S.
