My grandfather was born in Gniezno, Poland in 1926. I was going through his stuff and I found some Nazi documentation of his. Can anyone help me out with what they mean? ********** Post moved to Q/A. Now specifically what are your concerns and or questions reference this documentation? You should provide a scan of the documents. Perhaps your grandfather was one of the Jews moved into the ghetto?

Prussianwolf has been here before. I don't remember the exact name but it was close to this ident. I could be wrong.
If he wants help so badly, why did he not include a scan?

With out seeing a translation, I can only venture guesses. The documents could be relating to such things as:
-His family might have been Polish and been forcibly re-located or expelled from "German" areas following the Nazi invasion.
-His family might have been Volks Deutch and been registered as such
-His family might have been in both categories (some people were told to either register as volks deutch and be conscripted into the German army, or face unpeasant concequences (expulsion, forced labor etc) if they self identfied as Polish
