Not suprising as this really imo was the only reasonable solution in the fiurst place given the two disparate philosophies of why that war should have been fought.
 
And what's also not suprising is the flip....he's apparently working the independents again....prior to re-election. But more importantly how will it be recieved by allies and the terrorists. Is this a hidden message? Is he attempting to project toughness or is that his intent? Reaction to bad polls while sending a  feigned message to project toughness?
